Thank you for visiting, I’m Sarah Bockhart.

I’m a Personal Trainer, Sports massage therapist in Clacton-on-Sea, Holland-on-Sea and surrounding areas. Sarah Bockhart.

I had always struggled with my weight. I was a yo-yo dieter and emotional eater. One day everything changed, I had had enough. I changed my eating habits, mindset and I found a way of exercising that I actually enjoyed.

In 2008 I qualified as a Personal Trainer  and now it’s my full time job to help others do the same! In person AND online!

I specialise in sports massage, cardiac rehabilitation and exercise for other chronic conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, mental health conditions, lung conditions and diabetes.  I also teach classes spinning, aerobics and I run Drum ‘n’ Bass Workout Clacton which I launched in Jan 2017 as well as Fight Klub bag box. To me, it’s all about having fun and being happy! I love helping people feel better about themselves and improve their lives.

I’ve never really been a sporty person, I was always the student at school making excuses to skip PE. Until one day something in my mind just clicked. I was fed up of trying all the fad yo-yo diets (and failing). I wanted to feel good about how I looked and felt once and for all. That’s exactly what I did! It was a long journey and I changed a few bad habits along the way, gradually so that I could maintain the changes. Some days I still relapse back to my old ways! But I now have a coping mechanism that stops me hitting self destruct again- it isn’t about will power, it’s about routine and doing everything you can to set yourself up for success, not failure.


I understand the struggle that is eating well and exercising regularly -I’ve been there remember- and I know many, many tricks to get you where you need to be.

  1. I have appointment booked with you Friday 8th June at 10am. I am on holiday, and have got sun burnt on my back. Due back home on Thursday. I think it’s best if I cancel appointment, as sun burn hurts. So sorry (letting you know now so hopefully you can fill appointment space). I would like to be able to contact you again to make another appointment when I don’t feel so sore! I apologise for messing you about. I feel so stupid for getting burnt, but I know I would be wasting your time and mine this week. Hope to see you maybe next week to start my treatment. Kind regards Elizabeth Baker.
