Food planning or “meal prep” is one of the most important aspects of eating better. Preparing your food in advance means you’ll be less likely to reach for something quick in the event of a ‘hangry’ moment. It can help save money too because if you buy what you plan for you are less likely to waste anything.
Below is just a guide to meal planning based on sensible portion sizes on a balanced plate of food. You may think that this is a lot of food to eat in one day and you can adapt it to suit your needs, however sometimes it helps to eat a little more food, regularly to lose bodyfat, improve energy levels and feel better. It’s also a good way to ensure you’re getting your recommended 5 a day.
